Normandy Rescue are a small charity based in Jersey, Channel Islands. We were founded in 2005 and our team of around 20 volunteers provide medical and rescue cover to over 100 events a year here in the Island.
If you love sport and are interested in joining our team then please get in touch. Our team come from a variety of backgrounds, some work in the emergency services and health, others have no prior medical or rescue background. Get in touch and we can tell you more.
Medical Cover for Public Events
Our team of volunteers have been providing medical cover at large public events for over 10 years. From the Jersey International Air Display, Havre to Pas Seaside Festival, Fete de St Helier, Jersey Festival of motoring and many others.
Medical Cover for Sports Events
From global televised sporting events such as the Super League Triathlon to more home grown events such as the Durrell Dash, Half Marathons, The Jersey Triathlon, Cyclocross and numerous half marathons, 10Ks and other club events our volunteers are there to support competitors when things don’t quite go to plan.
Motorsport Medical and Rescue
For over 18 years Normandy Rescue have been providing medical and rescue cover for the huge variety of Motorsport here in the island. From the Rally, Hill Climbs, MotoX, Sprints, Sandracing to the multi day Jersey Festival of Motoring our team of Motorsport UK licensed Rescue volunteers can be found working alongside the small army of volunteer officials and Marshalls that enable such a wide variety of events to take place.
